WordPress Hosting
Everything about your sites lives in the dashboard under Sites. From there you
create new sites, open any site's settings, and keep an eye on their status. Each
site is fully managed — WordPress is installed and kept running for you, with a
free *.magicwp.dev domain and automatic HTTPS from day one.
Creating a site
Go to Sites → Create New Site. You pick a starting point, a name and domain, the PHP version, storage, and a region — then MagicWP provisions the site for you. There are two starting points, plus cloning:
Create a new site
A ready-to-use WordPress install with sample content.
Create an empty environment
A clean stack with no WordPress content — for developers and custom installs.
Clone a site
Copy an existing site's files, database, and settings.
You need an active plan and a free site slot
Creating or cloning a site uses one of the site slots on your subscription. If you've used them all, upgrade your plan or add an extra-site add-on.
The Sites list
The Sites table shows every site with its Domain, Status, WordPress and PHP versions, Storage used, Region, and an optional Label you can set to tell sites apart.
While a site is being built you'll see a live Provisioning / Creating site badge; it moves to Live when it's ready. Other states you may see:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Live | Up and serving traffic |
| Provisioning | Being set up (DNS, files, containers, WordPress install) |
| Maintenance | Temporarily in maintenance mode |
| Failed | Provisioning didn't complete |
| Suspended | Paused (e.g. a billing issue) |
Managing a site
Open a site to reach its settings. Handy actions from the Sites list:
- Magic Login — open
wp-admininstantly, no password needed. - Overview / Settings — the site's dashboard and configuration.
- Preview — open the live site in a new tab.
- More — flush the page or object cache, or reset PHP settings.
Each site also has dedicated pages for Domain, Database, SFTP, Email, Redirects, and Backups.
